I’ve been creating glass since 2008. I’ve taken some wonderful journeys to see glass; Bullseye (with nice mates), Tanya at AAE Glass (a number of occasions), Bob Leatherbarrow in Salt Springs Island, Laurie Spray, Miriam Di Fori, Craig Mitchell Smith, Amanda Taylor, Patty Grey, Alice Gebhart, Cathy Claycomb, *no photos albeit fabulous instructors (Mark, David Alcala, Ann Nye, and many others), and so many others together with my very first teacher Coral!
Ever since I began fusing glass again in 2008, I needed to go to the Glass and Bead Expo in Las Vegas. I really like glass and revel in being round others who love glass. Thus far it appears to be like like 80 exhibitors and the a few of the ones I wish to go to. I’m fortunate and will probably be staying within the lodge the place the expo is being held.

Fortunately for me, two of my glass mates will probably be there; Julie (she and I went to Glass Array in Missouri and took a few courses collectively). Pam and I went to D&L right here in Colorado and took the Patty Grey Class. In fact, we met in AAE Lessons together with our buddy Melinda (who sadly couldn’t come to Vegas). The three of us additionally took a category in Lansing Michigan with Craig Mitchell Smith and we took one other class with Amanda Taylor in New York – my goodness I really like these proficient women.

One of many courses I’ll be taking is Tabitha’s class. I’m actually excited to take the category with Tabitha – I get a number of my millefiori and murrine from Tabitha and I’ve written a number of posts about her (see a pair on the underside row). I’ve even signed up for a meet and greet with Tabitha and Jamaison one other nice artist!

One other class I’m taking is “Dimensions in Stained Glass” with Tamara. I’ve taken a few Stain Glass courses earlier than with my buddy Lela and I simply wish to do some extra of particularly packing containers.

The Over the Edge class by Alysa will develop on the On Edge class I took with Tanya – years in the past. I’ve taking a number of half sheet courses and e-books earlier than, however this one appears to be like fairly enjoyable.

The Inventive Mildew-Making by Barbara Cashman is one I’ve needed to do for some time, so I’m enthusiastic about it. I’ve this materials and simply haven’t discovered the tips, additionally I pull my very own vitrigraph so utilizing 2 issues I’ve will probably be cool!

I’ve finished the under with a number of artists together with Tanya after all, however to me you possibly can by no means study sufficient about making your individual glass! This class is Make your Personal Sheet Glass by Lisa Stirrett

BTW one in all my favorites all time courses I’ve taken through the years was at Bullseye with my three Glass BFFs, the good Tanya Veit, I’ll always remember that class!

Come April 2025 I’ll be in Las Vegas with some wonderful ladies and instructors. I’ll be doing a little severe postings for positive! I can’t wait!!
