Carrie Mae Weems, George Condominium, Jenny Holzer, and Hank Willis Thomas are only a few of the artists which have donated work to Artists for Kamala, a profit in help of Vice President Kamala Harris’s presidential marketing campaign.
Works vary in worth from $250 for prints to as a lot $300,000 for family names like Jeff Koons and Amy Sherald. There have been 164 works donated in complete, round 50 of the which will likely be auctioned on-line via Artsy, beginning on September 30 and shutting on October 8. The remaining works include fastened costs and can be found on the Artists for Kamala web site.
In accordance with Artsy, the net public sale alone is anticipated to boost over $1 million. Proceeds will go towards the Harris Victory Fund, a joint fundraising committee that raises cash for Harris for President, the Democratic Nationwide Committee, and state Democratic events.
