The Inventive Crafts Council (CCC) celebrates its thirty fifth biennial exhibition supporting the best crafts from Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC. Michael Janis, Co-Director of the Washington Glass College & Studio, blends his architectural experience with a disciplined method to glass artwork, managing site-specific and public artwork commissions since 2005. His narrative paintings, impressed by his multicultural background because the little one of Asian/Latino descent, is featured in main museum collections together with the Artwork Institute of Chicago and the Tacoma Museum of Glass.
